Laptop Crashing and Freezing

Being portable devices, laptops are bound to crash more often as compared to desktops. They can easily get physically crashed people of its mobility. For example, you could want to show your friend something on your laptop. Instead if carrying with two hands, you use one and in the process the laptop falls and crashes. This is how laptops get physically crashed.

Another way laptops physically crash is through overheating. The main cause of this is a faulty fan. The fan is what is used to cool the hard drive. If the fan is not working properly, then the hard drive will heat up. This is because the hard drive is electronically charged and when running emits heat that needs to be cooled by the fan. Overheating of the hard drive brings about expansion of the internal components within it and thus, as the drive is running, some components could be touching each other consistently and cause click sounds.

Logically, laptops crash mainly because of corruption of information in the hard drive. Your laptop hard drive is very important and you need to take good care of it. If it happens to get damaged, then it can be said to have crashed. The main cause of this is viruses. Viruses are programs that have been created to disrupt the normal functioning of a computer by bringing about corruption of data. They change the original information into a way the system is unable to interpret.

One way to know if your laptop hard drive is failing is if freezes frequently. This is also known as hanging. When your laptop freezes and hangs a lot it means that your laptop could be crashing. Freezing occurs when the laptop takes long to get certain information for processing. This is mainly displayed by a still screen i.e. if you try moving the mouse it doesn’t move; it takes very long to load a small file etc.

Laptop crashes have become very common and people are looking for solutions.
