Use uninterrupted power supply (UPS): Whenever you purchase a new PC, it is advisable to try and include a UPS in the budget. It is a device that is used to regulate the voltage coming in and also stores some electrical energy when the power goes. Computers are electronic devices and if they don’t have a UPS and one is working on some information, when the power goes the information is lost. It is, therefore, advised that one puts into place the use of the UPS so that one can save their data and exit the system in the correct way after a power outage.

A problem with the operating system can be fixed using repair tools that come with the installation CD of the operating system. One can also use system utility tools to try and stabilize the system. This is the same for application programs.
