Disk Boot Failure: What to do after a boot failure

Disk failing to boot up usually ask for a boot disk that usually come with together with the mother board. For those who don’t have, placing a floppy disk in the computer and right click, there appears the format disk option. Under the format interface uncheck format and check create a bootable disk.

The system can not boot from the disk if one single file of the operating system has been deleted or removed by an antivirus while scanning.
The disk created contains the necessary file required to start up the system.
Compact disk can also be created either by transferring the information to a cd through copying or using software applications available in the internet to create boot Cds.

During start up of the computer, if you press DEL or Ctrl +S although it depends on the company that manufactured the mother board, you will enter the BIOS system. B-Basic, I-Input, O-Output, S-System
At this point it is possible to change the booting sequence, you can set your sequence as you prefer. But if the disk is not booting you may want to set your first boot as the HDD.

Some users prefer connecting the disk failing to boot to another computer and formatting it. This is also possible to get rid of the files that may be corrupt. Only make sure not to format your information so it very important to save you data before performing such operations.
New operating system files can then be copied in the hard disk. On connecting to the first machine you can either access the files copied in the disk either using bootable or a bootable floppy disk. From there onwards it will be possible to reinstall you operating system.

If all your magic does not work to get the disk to boot as normal then it is time you consulted a disk expert to recover any lost data or to fix any problem the disk may be having. Data recovery companies are coming up in countries like India and Africa offering low labor rates.
